New for 2026: Curate and Create – A Comprehensive Course for Transforming Your Photography into a Meaningful Project
Are you ready to elevate your photography skills beyond the initial click of the shutter?
Curate and Create – A Comprehensive Course for Transforming Your Photography into Meaningful Projects. This course is designed to help you take your photos from digital storage to a creative output you can be proud of.
If you’re like many photographers, you’ve probably enjoyed making a treasured image, only to leave it lingering in your hard drive, never truly brought to life. This course will help you bridge that gap by providing guidance and actionable insights on how to edit, curate, and share your work.
Why this Course?
Photography is an exciting, creative journey. It’s an escape, a form of expression, and a way to capture fleeting moments. But let’s be honest: once those images are downloaded onto your computer, what happens next? Do you find yourself overwhelmed by thousands of photos, unsure of what to do with them? Do you post a handful online, print the occasional favourite, but then leave the rest gathering digital dust?
In Curate and Create, we will break through those barriers together by teaching you to approach your images with purpose and intention. Over the course of four sessions, I’ll share the knowledge and techniques I’ve gained through years of refining my own photo workflow. From selection and editing to creating stories with your images, you’ll develop the tools and confidence to bring your work to life.
What You’ll Learn:
- Image Selection Made Simple
Often, the first challenge is deciding which images to focus on. With thousands of photos to sift through, how do you know where to start? This session will guide you through various approaches to streamline your selection process and help you build a system that works for you. - Sequencing and Storytelling
Every image has a story to tell. Learn how to curate and sequence your photos in a way that communicates a compelling narrative. Whether it’s for a personal project or something to share, you’ll discover the power of visual storytelling and how to craft a sequence. - Create Beautiful PDFs and Slideshows
In this session, I will teach you how to convert your images into professional-looking PDFs and slideshows. These are invaluable tools for presenting your work. You’ll gain practical experience using Lightroom (my platform of choice) to create polished final projects. - Feedback and Fine-tuning
The final session will be dedicated to review and feedback. You’ll have the opportunity to present your work and receive constructive input on your PDF and slideshow creations. This is an opportunity to refine your ideas and receive guidance on further elevating your images.

ICM & Multiple Exposures – Three Sessions
New Course Dates Released:
9th, 16th & 23rd June 2026
Kickstart your learning with this great opportunity to develop your skills and understanding of the ‘How’ and ‘Why’ of blending multiple ICM images.
This course is designed for anyone interested in creating multiple-exposure images using ICM. Over three sessions, we will explore the creative process of combining ICM images in multiple exposures. We begin by examining why you might want to combine images and how it can encourage creativity and individual expression. I will then guide you through the process and show you a variety of ways you might bring images together.
During the course, we will also look at combining ICM and non-ICM images. There will be lots of real-life examples showing the process from original idea through to the combining of images. We will explore possibilities using in-camera techniques, the process in Photoshop and possibilities with your phone – so this course is suitable regardless of what you use to make your images, or your previous ICM or multiple exposure experience.
We will build your knowledge so you can understand why things happen, how to control them, and how to express your feelings more creatively in this photographic process.

– body of work
____
New for the Autumn of 2025
On-Demand Course – €385 – COMING SOON
In this On-Demand course, Charlotte offers a wealth of knowledge she has built up over nearly ten years on the creation of cohesive projects. This course offers a selection of modules that will guide you step by step from understanding what cohesivity looks like in photography projects, right through to writing artist statements and curating small bodies of work.
Whilst the in-depth, year-long Group Project Mentoring Experience gives you the chance to share your project journey with my support over a year, perhaps you don’t want to commit to this or would rather get started learning about this subject with the flexibility to fit it in around your daily life?
The course includes presentations, step-by-step guides from the inception of ideas to creation and curation, and also offers simple exercises that you can put into practice to help guide you through the process.
No matter if you are sitting, wondering how to bring an idea to life with your camera, or you are stuck mid-project, wondering how to get to the end, Charlotte has ideas that will support your project creation journey. This course offers valuable tips to those submitting for photography qualifications, making photo books, submitting work for publication in magazines, exhibiting, or creating a harmonious Instagram feed. You may be looking to publicly share your work or develop your skills for a more personal reason. Regardless, this course will provide you with valuable information. Charlotte will draw not only on her own work, but that of others, to show the concepts and how you can use these in your own work.
This On-Demand course is available via the Student Portal to access immediately after you purchase it. It can be followed at your own leisure. Ideally you will follow the course step by step, however you can pick and choose the subject matter to explore in any order if you prefer.
